Our Religious formation aims at helping the candidate to be a full person and a deeply committed Christian. This is in view of a total consecration of herself to God in the service of the Church, and in keeping with the Spirit and Charism of the Congregation.

PRE-NOVITIATE

Responding to the attraction of Christ's call and desirous of following Christ the Poor, the Chaste and Obedient, the young girls seek admission into the Congregation. It is a period of mutual acquaintance which enable both the candidate and the community to discern her vocation to our way of life.

NOVITIATE
The Formation of Novices is carried on to prepare them for the total consecration of themselves to God in the following of Christ, at the service of the Church's mission. Novitiate is a training period for a life of faith and intense prayer, an invitation into the mission of the Institute in its Redemptive Mission, through the practice of the Evangelical Counsels and the experience of Community life. We lay stress on the doctrinal and spiritual formation. She is also initiated into Franciscan Spirituality. Prayer, reflection and study of God's Word in Scripture draws them into a deeper experience of God and His intimate love for her. An opportunity given to integrate work with prayer. Having discerned their vocation to our way of life, they readily consecrate themselves to Jesus through the Profession of Vows and to the service of His Kingdom, in and through the Church.

JUNIORATE
The Junior Professed Sisters implement in their day-to-day life, the spiritual values given to them during their initial formation. They strengthen their union with Christ in the midst of missionary activity. They are progressively initiated into the specific Apostolate of the Congregation. An intense study of Scripture, Theology, Liturgy, Church History and the Human Sciences enable the young sisters gain wider perspectives of Religious life and of the Apostolate.

ONGOING FORMATION
Formation is a continuing process. Penetrated with the missionary concern and zeal, we use every opportunity to widen our knowledge, develop our talents and skills, and keep in touch with current situations. We attend spiritual and other suitable courses for the development of the total person to become more relevant and effective in the mission of then Church. Each sister takes responsibility for her on-going formation.
