We
are 367 Sisters from different States of India working in 50 houses.
Our Congregation was founded on 26th April, 1911 - the feast day of Our Lady of Good
Counsel.
On 14th June, 1955 the Congregation was affiliated to the Great Franciscan family. It was raised to the Pontifical status on 14th June, 1973.
For better administration and greater participation of its members, the Congregation was bifurcated on 14th March 2001, into two Provinces - St. Francis Province and St. Clare Province.
