Our organization was founded by Rt. Rev. Henri Fortunat Caumont a French Capuchin missionary on April 26, 1911, in collaboration with his sister Rev. Mother Mary Matilda of the St. Mary of the Angels.

Our Constitutions are based on the Rule and Life of the Brothers and Sisters of the Third Order Regular of St. Francis. Our congregation was raised to the Pontifical status on 14th June, 1973.

OUR  AIM

The aim of Our Congregation bequeathed to us by our Founder, is an intense participation in the Redeeming Mission of Christ, through an intimate union with Him in prayer, life in Community and apostolic activity specially among the poor.

OUR CHARISM
To proclaim through word, deed and example Christ's Redemptive Mystery, specially to people of other faiths.

OUR PRESENT THRUST
Challenged in a world torn by discord, ethnic hatred, senseless violence and culture of death, we reach out in love to all, to build Communities of Communion in ever widening circles.
